Yes, it is expected that children struggle through these tests. We would like to see them persevere and go beyond their comfort zone of being able to tackle every question like they are used to in school. We are not looking for the student to get every question right, but we would like to see them attempt all the questions and show us the work so we can understand their thought process. Math is not a spectator sport. Jump in, sweat a bit and have fun exploring these problems!

Recommendation letters are not mandatory but they help to understand more about the student and hence are highly valued by our academic team during the application review process. This can be anyone you work closely with, including your sports, music, academic teachers. We would like them to tell us why they think you will be a good fit for Epsilon India camp.

1. Scan the completed Algebra test as one single pdf file and the Exploratory test as another single pdf file and send the two files to epsiloncampindia@gmail.com. Please do not upload individual photos of the completed problems.

2. Go through the video tutorial to get familiar with the student portal. Please go through this video carefully to understand how to upload the necessary documents as well as the process of collecting recommendations from your teachers through the portal itself.

3. Click on the Register button in the "How to Apply" page.

4. The registration process will also include some questions that need to be answered by the parent. Detailed answers to the questionnaire will help the academic team understand how the child views math. This needs to be filled by the parent.

The admissions are on a rolling basis, i.e., the spots will be filled as and when qualified candidates (based on qualifying tests, teacher recommendations and other materials submitted) are shortlisted. Your chance of getting selected is higher if you apply early. Registration will be open until there are no spots left.
